If I were a carpenter...

...I may be able to score 830 points in scrabble. Yeah, it's a pretty horrible game from a strategic standpoint, but it's something that they'll always remember.

To those who say that it shouldn't be recorded, I think it's great for the sport. Disallowing it as the "true" high score would be like revoking World Series Of Poker bracelets from 9 of the last 10 Main Event winners, since they luckboxed their way to victory and played like mongoloids.

A stream of news about regular Joes winning at scrabble could increase its popularity enough to create larger prize pools and make the sport more lucrative.

Oh, and the lack of response regarding the nanowrimo stuff, combined with a hectic week of work and learning caused me to write nothing at all thus far. I will need to average more than 2,000 words a day to finish, and I don't think I can do it. I don't even know how I want the story to start.
