Venus in the Garage

So the other day we got a new battery for a car, and in transporting the old battery to Costco to be replaced, it tipped over and leaked some acid on the bed of the truck. Anyhow, I didn't think anything of it at the time, and then today went into the garage.

Breathing poison isn't good for you. I'm not sure what the sulfuric acid was emanating, but it was killing me, and had at least some sulfur in it. I got some baking soda and a lot of water to try to neutralize the stuff that was still in the truck bed, but the odor still permeates the garage (and is probably leaking into the house slowly).

Time to turn on the fans, and get the truck washed properly with a pressure hose and even more baking soda.
