Finding myself

So I was trying to use iChat again (for whatever reason), and I once again ran into the issue with not being able to strip output formatting.  I decided to check google to see if anyone had come up with a solution for that.

My hopes weren't all that high, since Mac users tend to take what they're given and like it, but I searched anyhow.  Here was what I got.

I guess that's some sort of an accomplishment.
